![]() ![]() ![]() be able to continue copying what's possible when collision occur, and ask what to do a no-blocking way (ideally be able to pick what to do with some criteria for all files, or have a list of collisions and pick what to do for all, some, or file by file). be able to copy what can be copied and retry what's in error later (if the network is down, desktop to external hard drive should continue, and nas stuff should be resumed when the network is back) be able to restore copy task if the desktop crash (so auto-save what to copy where, and what's allready done) when all this stuff is started, be able to sort and/or pause copy task to prioritize what she want (all external hard drive stuff to unplug it and go while other task continue) in the same time start copying from the nas to her external hard drive, and some other stuff from the desktop to the external hard drive. be able to start copying a lots of files from a desktop to a nas, then some other files from the desktop to the nas, I can use rsync or other specific tools, but none are triggered by copy-past in the file manager (Nemo, Nautilus.). UltraCopier don't handle file copy exactly the same way, but it provide smart features to handle file copy. She is used to Windows 10 grouped collision files preview to be able to choose what to copy and what to ignore/rename. I'm trying to help my love to switch from Windows to Linux and file-copy handler make her unhappy : I love linux, and the Linux Mint way to distribute it.
